Registration: May 2024
Start growing:
June 1st
Stop growing: August 31st
Shave it: anytime in September
Fundraising ends: 30th September

Yep. Beard growing officially starts June 1st, registrations for 2024 will open early May, so rest assured it’s never too late. We’ll take them in all dimensions till the end of August. Already blessed with a beard? Keep growing it and get on board for the shave in September.

A beard is a way to show support, build awareness and raise life-changing funds to help families hurting after the loss of their baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal or infant death. This is a community campaign where strength comes from more beards on deck…dads who have experienced loss, their mates, family members and colleagues.

Funds raised from this campaign are directed in entirety to the Bears of Hope registered non-profit organisation, allowing them to continue providing leading support and exceptional care for families who experience the loss of their baby. Have a look below at the funds raised in our
2024 Beards of Hope campaign.

Kick off by registering your own online or community campaign (or both!) or make a donation.

How Can I Fundraise?

Opens May 1st

Community

You can take the initiative to hold raffles, coinbox collections, work events or BBQs to get people behind your campaign. If you choose to run this type of fundraiser, you must register it and receive both an Authority to Fundraise and fundraising number from Bears Of Hope.

Meet Some Beards

They’re a scruffy bunch. Tangible proof that beards really do come in all shapes and sizes. But what they all have in common is a story of loss and finding a way forward. One beard at a time.
